We reserved the church and had a sports inspired party for Hunter. They played basketball, kickball, football, tag and did relays races that ended in busting open the pinata.
I made a chocolate cake with green colored frosting and green sprinkles to make a football field. I made white lines to mark the end zones and the yard lines. I put a giant sugar cookie with brown frosting in the middle and used straws to make goal posts.
Nate, Tanner, Will, Hunter, Evan, Josh, Reagan, Gideon
Hunter got Bey Blades, a stadium, money, a gift card, football cards and Monopoly Empire.
Hunter’s actual birthday was the next day, Saturday. RJ made him a special waffle and sausage breakfast with OJ. We gave him a journal and a gift card. He has already written in it several times and we hope he will continue to keep a record of his life.
We all love our Hunty (as Reagan affectionately calls him). He’s a great big brother and son. Happy Birthday Hunter!
