We finally got on the ball and signed Hunter up for basketball. He has been wanting to play for a while but we always miss the cut off or have something else going on. RJ volunteered to be the head coach. It was both frustrating and rewarding. Hunter really enjoyed experiencing this with his dad. The team improved dramatically and I couldn’t help but feel proud of all the boys and RJ. It was especially fun to see Hunter play. He really stood out on both ends of the court. At the end of season banquet, he was recognized for his 31 defensive rebounds and five blocks. What pleases me the most is that Hunter always tried his best and was coachable. He put in extra time in the gym and it paid off.
